Gymnastic Skills to complement Dance Skills

Dance routines are becoming much more exciting.

Ballet, jazz and contemporary routines can now be seen incorporating elements of acro skill to include tumbling, balancing and aerial movements.  These include:

  • jumps
  • leg mounts
  • somersaults
  • cartwheels
  • back bends
  • walkovers
  • handstands, headstands and tiger stands
  • flips
  • over splits and jetes
  • and tricks.

We cover each of these elements, focusing on strength, core stability, technique and flexibility.


Safety is Paramount

  • Our classes are held at a specialised gymnastic venue with sprung flooring and matting
  • Our coach is a qualified gymnastic instructor, supported by Level 1 accredited calisthenics coaches
